He even references the death of Slim Shady, a clear nod to his own commitment to keeping it real. And let’s not forget his hardly subluminal line, “I know Canadian rappers, real Canadian rappers who didn’t move to the states and stop claiming it after, Yeah you know who I mean,” a clear shot at Canadian rapper Tom Macdonald who made the move to the US, “and is a patriot”.
